Presentation title:  Examples of niobium microalloyed steels toward the future of carbon neutrality

Marcos Stuart is a Metallurgical Engineer, Master of Engineering and MBA. He was the former Chief Technology Officer from 2008 to 2019 at Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração, CBMM, the Brazilian producer of niobium products and worldwide leader in niobium technology. Since 2019, he has been acting as a consultant of niobium technology for CBMM, having as his main task the development of niobium applications where niobium adds value to the supply chain, increasing the performance and the life cycle of the final products. Before CBMM, Marcos Stuart worked during 25 years as a steel maker in different companies, always striving to use the best technologies and processes for steel production and respective applications.
