The 9th Asia Steel International Conference (Asia Steel 2024) will be held in Changsha, Hunan Province, China on September 4-7, 2024, which is a continuation of the 1st and 5th Asia Steel International Conference (2000, 2012) in China, the 2nd and 7th Asia Steel International Conference (2003, 2018) in India, the 3rd and 6th Asia Steel International Conference (2006, 2015) in Japan and the 4th and 8th Asia Steel International Conference (2009, 2021) in Korea.
Hydrogen metallurgy has recently emerged as a prominent topic within the steel industry. For the Asia Steel 2024, the topic of hydrogen metallurgy has drawn a considerable number of submissions. Given the increasing significance and interest in this field, and together with the success of 2023 International Symposium on Hydrogen Metallurgy, CSM decided to upgrade the session of hydrogen metallurgy technologies to the International Symposium on Hydrogen Metallurgy, which will be held jointly with Asia Steel 2024.
It is our pleased to inform you that the joint conferences have received a highly positive response since the first announcement. Up to now, more than 550 abstracts have been received from 21 countries and regions. The exhibition preparations have also started and received a warm response. We kindly invite you to participate in this meaningful conference and are looking forward to meeting you in Changsha, which is known as a "Mainland City with the Best Overseas Image", an "East Asia Cultural City", and "City of Media Arts" in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
