Presentation title: Microstructure Design of Green Steel

Dr. Matthias Militzer is a professor in the Department of Materials Engineering at the University of British Columbia and chief scientist in advanced steel processing at ArcelorMitaal (Dofasco) Steel Company. His main research areas include multi-scale simulation of microstructure evolution, basic theory and model research of physical metallurgy of advanced high-strength steel, and new copper interconnections in advanced microelectronics.
